Job summary

Inspired Home Care is hiring Home Care RNs for PRN and Part Time roles in the Naperville area. You will manage your own caseload in patients' homes, ensuring timely visits and high-quality care outside a clinic setting.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, and education for patients and families. You will collaborate with therapists and physicians to implement care plans and enhance patient well-being.

Qualifications

• State RN license required.
• 1 year of experience in in-home care.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to travel to multiple patients per day.
• Preferred knowledge of WellSky Kinnser.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart observations.
• Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review, Oasis assessment, wound care and IV therapy.
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on home health care strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate with therapists and physicians involved in the care plan.
• Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve quality of life.
• Listen to patient concerns and respond to requests.
