Job summary

Peoples-Home-Health, LL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide in-home nursing care within the scope of training and state licensure. You will support RNs and physicians, administer prescribed care, and document patient status according to policy.

Requirements include Florida LPN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program required.
• Current LPN license in the State of Florida.
• Minimum one year nursing experience.
• One year home care experience preferable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse or Physician in performing specialized procedures and duties.
• Provide prescribed nursing care procedures to assigned clients.
• Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating client care in collaboration with an RN.
• Provide health teaching and assist clients and families in learning self-care techniques.
• Document findings in a timely and concise manner per agency policy.
