Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for hospice and home health support. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision in patients' homes, following care plans and ensuring comfort and safety.

Requirements include a Virginia CNA license, high school diploma, and BLS. Flexible scheduling, benefits, and shift differentials are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Virginia State Approved CNA program Certification.
• Educational requirements per hospital certifications (Example: Stroke, Orthopedic/Spine).

Responsibilities

• Follows established plan of care for patient.
• Reports changes in patient condition promptly to the registered nurse.
• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN, meeting patient’s hygiene and comfort needs, per plan of care.
• Cares for patients of various ages.
• Assists patients with personal hygiene, including shower, tub or bed baths and mouth, skin and hair care as defined in the plan of care.
