Preferred Home Care of NY, a Help at Home company, is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) in your community TODAY. You’ll work 1-on-1 with clients in their homes, supporting activities like personal care, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping while following basic nursing tasks under supervision.

We offer weekly pay starting at $19.65 per hour, with benefits, paid time off, and direct deposit. Eligible applicants include a valid HHA certificate and ID, plus commitment to state-required training.

Qualifications

• Valid HHA Certificate required.

• Dedication to professional development, including state-required training and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping in client homes (organizing, laundry, basic cleaning).
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing) and meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers ensuring client safety.
• Use equipment as directed (e.g., Hoyer Lift).
• Take temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed.
• Perform routine or delegated nursing tasks as trained.
