Job summary

Avera at Home Pierre is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide in-home personal care for elderly or disabled patients in Pierre, SD. This regular day shift role includes ADL support, housekeeping, meal prep, and documentation under supervision.

Requirements include a valid CNA license, driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED. May be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required upon hire.
• CNA certification required upon hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides personal care as directed by the nurse and plan of care.
• Housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping tasks.
• Assists with social activities as prescribed by the plan of care.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation.
• Reports changes in patient status to supervisor.
• Uses equipment and supplies effectively and adheres to policies.
• Care is appropriate to the age of the patient served.
