Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal healthcare and related services in patients’ homes, under RN supervision. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and document observations for the care team.

Applicants should meet state training requirements, be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and English literacy. CPR/Hepatitis records may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Meets the training requirements of the State.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma Preferred
• Must have current driver’s license
• Reliable transportation with current and valid auto liability insurance
• One year’s experience as Home Health Aide or CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or home health agency; OR completion of CNA or CHHA program
• Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively
• CPR (Florida only) and Hepatitis profile

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to the client in their place of residence.
• Assist in providing a safe and clean environment.
• Work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations with the supervisor.
• Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
