UNIFI Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Attendant to support patients at home, assist with daily activities, and provide companionship in a patient-centered model.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA Rules and Regulations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; great interpersonal relations and confident demeanor.
• Compassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concerns.
• Demonstrating related housekeeping or personal care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Support patients with mobility, standing, and physical activities.
• Cueing/reminders for self-medication administration.
• Schedule patient appointments, cancellations, and update records.
• Accompany patients to appointments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary needs of patients’ space and living areas.
• Meal preparation and planning.
• Answer the telephone, assist with gathering personal mail and other correspondence.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
