Job summary

The Good Shepherd Community is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) to support residents in a compassionate, home-like environment in Minnesota. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help residents stay active and engaged.

Responsibilities include medication assistance under supervision, EMAR documentation, and timely reporting of changes to the RN. A friendly team and mission-driven culture make this a rewarding place to grow your career.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry OR provide a 75-hour Nursing Assistant course certificate.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) designation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in leisure and recreational activities.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and exercise as directed.
• Assist with medication administration under RN supervision and document in EMAR.
• Report changes in resident condition to RN promptly.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
