Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to work under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves observing patients, assisting with daily living activities, and reporting observations to the supervising nurse.

The ideal candidate meets state training requirements, is 18+, has a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and can read/write in English. Prior HHA/N CNA experience is preferred, with certification requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Meets the training requirements of the State.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least one year experience as HHA or CNA preferred.
• Read/write in English and follow instructions in English.
• CPR (Florida only) and Hepatitis profile.
• Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
• Self-directing with little supervision.
• Calm demeanor when in patient’s home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services in the client’s residence.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean living environment.
• Cooperate with patient and family; report observations to supervisor.
• Operate under the direction of a registered nurse.
