Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide individualized home care to senior clients. You will assist with daily living tasks, companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.

The role includes completing notes, staying reliable, passing a background check, and participating in a free in-house HHA certification program (59 online hours, 16 field hours, 1 in-office test).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if needed.
• Complete light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and dishes.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Document services provided and any changes or concerns in the client's condition.
