Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is hiring Personal Care Aides to support seniors and disabled individuals at home. You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor vital signs, and help with grooming, hygiene, and light housework, enabling clients to remain independent with dignity.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, reporting client conditions, and staying current with home health aide training and procedures as part of a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Vehicle must be insured.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Need a current TB test.
• Must pass a Background & Drug check and be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks.
• Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
• Help with light housekeeping, including cooking meals.
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Observe and report on each client’s condition.
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures.
