Job summary

Care Right There seeks a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to deliver personal care, companionship, and homemaking services under RN supervision in clients' homes across South Jersey. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and monitor patient condition.

Active NJ CHHA certification is required; high school diploma preferred; CPR preferred. Reliable transportation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Clear background check and drug screening are required.
• Must be dependable, compassionate and have excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and prescribed exercises.
• Supporting independence while maintaining client dignity.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
• Attending company-provided ongoing training and continuing education (CEUs).
