Job summary

Visiting Angels of Jackson is hiring a Part Time Home Health Aide to enrich the lives of clients and support wellness in their care plans. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship in clients' homes.

Flexibility to handle 8-, 10-, 12-hour shifts and PRN availability is offered with opportunities for training and growth in dementia/Alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light exercise and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and errands.
• Report health changes to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Ensure safety during shopping outings.
• Encourage medication adherence.
• Assist with appointments and transportation.
