Job summary

Visiting Angels of Jackson is seeking a CNA Nurse Aide to support clients in their homes throughout the local area. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, following personalized care plans.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. Training opportunities in dementia or Alzheimer’s care are available to expand skill sets.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light meals and planning with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Report health changes or incidents to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Accompany clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
