Home Matters Caregiving - Greater Boston North / West is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home care in the Greater Boston West area. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship, ensuring a safe, clean home environment.

We value applicants with at least 6 months of home care experience, English proficiency, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
• Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
