Job summary

Visiting Angels of Anniston is hiring a Patient Care Aide - PCA to assist seniors in Pell City and surrounding areas, helping them remain at home with dignity.

The role includes personal care, light housekeeping, mobility support, meal planning, medication reminders, and transportation assistance; shifts include Full Time and PRN.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, strong communication, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• First Aid and emergency response training (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications at the right times.
• Help with shopping and groceries, or shop for clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on ability.
• Assist with mobility and doctor visits and accompany to appointments.
