Visiting Angels of Anniston is hiring In Home Patient Care Assistants to support clients across Talladega, Munford, Anniston and surrounding areas. You will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility support and companionship in home settings.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive wages and opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required to serve clients in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First aid training and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Able to manage multiple duties and time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking tasks while adhering to dietary constraints.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity, exercise, or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and coordinate care.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Support mobility and errands at home and during appointments.
