Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team in the Lehigh Valley. We provide support to the elderly, disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities, and offer appreciation through bonuses and recognition.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Training is mobile-based with flexible scheduling and both part-time and full-time options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, kneel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Care for the Participant and property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
• Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or transportation as needed.
• Assist with medications and provide reminders.
• Prepare meals, shopping, and general personal assistance.
• Offer companionship and conversations to encourage and support the participant.
