Job summary

Angelic Hands Of The Carolinas is seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, following individualized care plans and building trusting relationships while delivering attentive care.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is preferred and required to assist with daily activities and personal care in a compassionate manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license required.
• Clean Background record.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
• Running errands and taking them to their designated appointments.
