Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health in Montoursville is seeking dependable caregivers to help clients stay comfortable, supported, and independent at home. You will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, provide companionship, and report changes to the office.

Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. As part of our team, you’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, onboarding and ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
• Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
• Reliable transportation to assigned visits and the ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.
• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using our electronic visit verification system.
