Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support patients in their homes and communities. You’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks, and help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent on every shift.

Licensed HHAs/CNAs are encouraged to apply, and motivated candidates willing to become certified are welcome. Weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities are provided as part of our caregiver community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-approved HHA training or CNA/STNA certification.
• Ohio requires HHA certification as applicable.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• Experience in home care or caregiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support medication self-administration through reminders (no independent med administration).
• Monitor and report patient condition and changes to the supervising nurse.
• Take and record basic vital signs when trained and assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment.
• Assist with linens and light client laundry as appropriate.
• Use safety equipment properly (rails, supports, stools, etc.).
• Document care provided according to company and regulatory standards.
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across your service area.
• Complete required in-service training, including annual dementia education.
