BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Woburn is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate support to clients in their homes across the Woburn area. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure clients' health and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable program.
• Certified CPR certification is necessary.
• At least one year of caregiver or home-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.
  
  
  

Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Required: HHAs must have valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable educational program.
• Required: Certified CPR
• Preferred: one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to provide support to push and pull, bend, lift, kneel depending upon the mobility of the client and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
