Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Adrian, MI is seeking Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care. You will assist with daily activities, offer companionship, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include reporting changes to the care team, transporting clients as needed, and following individualized care plans while engaging with families and healthcare providers to ensure quality care. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; HHA certification preferred.
• Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming and meal prep.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
• Document and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
• Transport clients to appointments and social activities as needed.
• Follow care plans and collaborate with family members and healthcare providers.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
