Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, home care, or similar settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and administer medications.
• Understanding of dementia care practices is a plus.
• Compassionate attitude toward individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare provider.
• Help with household chores and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client's health status.
