Job summary

Angels of Hope Home Care is looking for compassionate and reliable caregivers to become a part of our team. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet their aging challenges with dignity, care, and compassion.

We are seeking a Caregiver / HHA to join our team. In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Be over 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance if transportation is needed.
• Dependable car for primary use.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CNA certification.
• First aid and CPR-certified (in person).
• Current TB test results.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking
• Provide adjunct patient care
• Monitor food intake
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Transportation (not all clients)
• Communicate well with home office
• Follow all company policies
• Make notes of daily activities
