Qualifications

• Active certifications in MA required: CNA/HHA/PHCAST Homemaker & PC courses.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, and assist clients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry and other household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable and respectful environment for each client.
