Elara Caring is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care in Queens, NY. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities, while offering companionship and support to clients.

Requirements include NY HHA certification and a high school diploma or GED. Prior care experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is helpful for visiting client homes.

Qualifications

• HHA certification from the State of New York is required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Care experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping and transportation to appointments.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment.
