Job summary

Summit Home Health Care is seeking HHA/PCA certified caregivers in New York to provide high-quality in-home care. Candidates should be trustworthy, team oriented, and willing to travel to cases using their own vehicle for an extra $1 per hour.

Requirements include New York State Home Health Aide Certificate, government IDs, two references, and health screenings. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available with competitive benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Reference Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Flu shot
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work
• Chain of Custody Drug Screen no older than 6 months

Responsibilities

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.)
• Assist with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition
• Help with patient meals and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions
• Accompany the patient to doctor's visits, shopping, and other essential errands
