Job summary
Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking caregivers to provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living for residents in a gated community setting in Pompton Plains, NJ. The role emphasizes compassionate service, housekeeping support, meal planning, and escorting residents to activities.
You will work 20-30 hours during the week and one full weekend per month, with compensation up to $19.00/hour based on experience.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and certified for elder care.
- Experience with seniors is preferred.
- Compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
- Support residents with routine housekeeping, meal planning and prep.
- Escort residents to appointments and social activities.
- Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships.
- Follow infection control and prevention practices.
- Notify nurse of any resident condition changes.
- Maintain competency in required job skills and knowledge.
