Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Aide to assist patients in the comfort of their own homes. The role features daytime shifts and a pay range of $21–$23 per hour, with about 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs, mobility assistance, and simple therapeutic activities as directed. Candidates must complete state-regulated training and Maxim’s competency program, plus CPR/First Aid and background checks.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training and evaluation program as applicable, per State/Federal regulations.
• Successful completion of Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides with exam scores 80% or higher.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Meets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of transfer devices.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and other simple procedures as ordered (with demonstrated skills competency).
