Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one‑on‑one in‑home care. This 1099 contract role offers 24 hours per week at $17–$18 per hour, based on experience, in a patient’s residence.

You will follow the physician's plan of care, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs and meal prep, and maintain accurate documentation while communicating with family and care team.

Qualifications

• Current HHA or CNA certification.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient‑focused.
• Ability to provide professional, respectful care in a home setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow the established plan of care and document services accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one‑on‑one care in the patient’s home.
• Assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Support the patient in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and familiar home environment.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the patient’s care.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal‑related needs.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature and respiration as directed by the care plan.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
• Communicate with the patient’s family and other authorized individuals regarding the patient’s care and well‑being.
• Report changes in the patient’s condition or care needs to the appropriate member of the care team.
