Job summary

Brightstar Care (TomCat HC) in Lafayette, IN is seeking a reliable CNA or HHA to provide one-on-one home health care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and help ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in their homes.

Under supervision of our clinical team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, perform light housekeeping, and accommodate flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana CNA or HHA license required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for travel between client homes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Mobility support and safe transfers within clients' homes.
• Medication reminders and reporting health concerns.
• Monitor and document changes in client health and vital signs.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Identify hazards and assist with medical equipment use.
• Document care and communicate changes with the team.
