Qualifications

• Medicare-certified home health aide certification is required.
• At least one year of experience in a Medicare Certified home healthcare agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patient's residences.
• Administer simple prescribed medications.
• Assist with client’s personal care activities.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
• Maintain patient care records and document provided services.
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional support.

Skills

Proven working experience as a Licensed home health care aide

Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens

Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards

Nursing and health care administration skills

Caring and compassionate personality

Current CPR certificate

First Aid training

Valid driver’s license
