FirstLight Home Care is seeking a Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home care for clients in Garrard County, Kentucky. The role supports daily living activities, companionship, and mobility assistance, with collaboration across the care team to ensure client comfort and safety.

Full-time, part-time, or temporary options are available, with opportunities for shadowing, mentoring, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a caregiving role or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients.
• Empathy and compassion to provide dignified care.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility tasks.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily living assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and companionship to clients.
• Monitor and document client progress and report any changes to the care team.
• Assist clients with mobility and mobility-related tasks.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and their families to promote trust and rapport.
