Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate home caregivers to support seniors in Monee, IL. You will provide non-medical care, reminders for medications, mobility assistance, personal care, meals, and light housekeeping, while following each client’s care plan.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of home care experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work full-time or part-time. We offer flexible hours, weekly pay, and benefits including health insurance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of home care experience required.
• Willing to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary considerations.
• Respectful, compassionate with good bedside manner.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders to clients.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility at home or outside.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support physical therapy and prescribed exercises.
• Shop for clients or accompany them on errands.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Follow the individual care plan.
