Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate custodial and personal care to clients in their homes. You will work under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator to implement each client’s Plan of Care, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment that supports independence.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, daily personal care, nutrition support, health monitoring, mobility assistance, and strict infection control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in a home care, long-term care, or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment through light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and transferring.
• Assist with meals, nutrition planning, and feeding as needed.
• Monitor client health and well-being and report changes to the Staffing Coordinator.
• Support mobility with walkers, wheelchairs, and transfers while ensuring safety.
• Follow infection control protocols and adhere to Caregiver Handbook procedures.
