Job summary

Compassionate Connections Home Care in Florida is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to clients across Lake, Sumter and Marion counties.

You will assist with ADLs, meal planning, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders, while offering companionship and monitoring health status.

Flexible hours include nights, weekends and holidays; CNA preferred but not required, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Transportation for clients as needed.
• Medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Skills

Caregiving experience
