Job summary

Visiting Angels of Chino is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist with daily living activities for clients at home in Chino, CA.

You will support personal hygiene, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments, while providing encouragement and safety. Prior home care experience and a valid driver’s license are required; training and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a daily basis.
• 2 years' experience in the home care industry as a caregiver is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene care.
• Assist with dressing.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping activities.
• Provide hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Assist with blood glucose monitoring.
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
