Job summary

Caring Senior Service seeks caring Home Caregivers to support seniors in their own homes across Horry County, SC. You will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain clients’ independence with a focus on safety and well-being.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills, with the ability to pass a background check. Flexible schedules and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional or private experience working with the elderly or adults with disabilities.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Valid driver's license and own insured car.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work in the US and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Helping with meal preparation and planning nutritious meals.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance social interaction.
• Assisting with medication reminders and monitoring health conditions.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean-living environment.
• Accompanying clients to appointments and engaging in activities that promote mental and physical health.
