Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Gainesville, FL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support. You will offer companionship, assist with personal care, and help with light housekeeping while building trusting relationships with clients and families.

Applicants should have a valid CNA or PCA license or relevant caregiving experience, CPR/First Aid, a clean background, and reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling including weekends is available to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or PCA license, or relevant caregiving experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test (chest X-ray or skin test).
• Clear national background check.
• Reliable transportation is required, preferably with a valid driver’s license and active insurance.
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work with multiple clients on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with personal care as needed
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Build positive relationships with clients and families
• Deliver reliable care by being punctual and consistent
