Job summary

One You Love Homecare Central Ohio in the United States seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and help with light housekeeping to maintain clients’ independence and dignity.

The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and transportation support, with flexible scheduling across days, evenings, weekends, and overnights where needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
