Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg, IL is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, and Home Health Aides to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors and individuals who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Every client is different, and every day brings an opportunity to make someone's day a little easier. You will assist with personal care, meals, companionship, mobility, and follow individualized care plans while traveling between client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred, especially home care, CNA, or HHA.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance are required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Helping with personal care and hygiene
• Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with mobility and daily routines
• Supporting clients with activities they enjoy
• Following the client's individualized care plan
• Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Keeping accurate care notes and communicating important updates with the office
