Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services – Mid-South is seeking compassionate caregivers for full-time or part-time shifts in the Memphis area. Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, medication reminders, meal prep, and light housekeeping to help seniors live safely at home.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving or personal care experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work independently while following care plans
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition
• Accurately document care provided
• Follow each client's individualized care plan
