Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients at home. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep and light housekeeping, while offering companionship and safety in daily routines.

Role requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification. Training is provided, with flexible hours and daily pay options to fit your schedule and needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required prior to first client contact.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend and assist clients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
