Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a dedicated Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home support. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, and light housekeeping while delivering companionship and dignity to clients.

Ideal candidates bring reliability, strong communication, and a patient demeanor. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with transportation to client homes and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable).
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
