Job summary

A leading home health care provider in Upper Darby is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients with daily activities, personal care, and companionship. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, excellent communication skills, and ideally previous caregiving experience. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing emotional support. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred. The role offers health insurance benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and physical as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation.
• Escort clients to appointments and recreational activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided including daily activity logs.
