Job summary

AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC seeks compassionate Personal Support Specialists to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and people with disabilities in Randolph, Maine. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship, along with transportation to appointments and timely reporting to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine PSS Certification or willingness to complete training.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of active auto insurance.
• Patient, empathetic attitude toward the elderly and commitment to high-quality care.
• Ability to perform lifting, bending and standing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Perform light housekeeping and keep living areas tidy.
• Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping and healthy meals.
• Offer companionship and engagement in social activities.
• Escort to doctor appointments and help with errands.
• Observe changes in health and report updates to supervisor.
