Job summary

Dawson & Dawson Home Care LLC is seeking a Care Professional for Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM to support elderly and disabled clients in their homes. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation with medication reminders as needed.

The role emphasizes proactive, compassionate service, strong communication, and the ability to maintain accurate care notes. CNA preferred, with reliable, punctual attendance and a focus on safety and client

• Light housekeeping skills are a MUST.
• Meal preparation skills are a MUST.
• CNA certification is preferred.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and support to clients, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), as needed.
• Engage with the client through meaningful conversation and companionship. The ideal candidate enjoys talking with clients and building a positive, trusting relationship.
• Be attentive to the client's needs and take a proactive approach to providing assistance throughout the shift.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Prepare meals according to the client's needs and preferences.
• Provide medication reminders according to prescribed schedules, as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including care notes, ADLs, and incident documentation.
