Job summary

CareBuilders at Home of EastSide is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to support clients in their homes or facilities with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and companionship, following the client’s service plan and state regulations.

Requirements include six months of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, TB test, drug screening, background check, and a valid driver’s license with insurance if driving.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience as a personal care aide or similar role.
• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• TB test showing non-infectivity.
• Drug screening per policy.
• Background check per regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance if driving as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offer transportation as needed and adhere to service plans.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to support client well-being.
