Job summary

Area Agency on Aging of Western Arkansas, Inc. seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily living support and personal care in patients' homes or facilities in accordance with a care plan. This role helps clients maintain independence in a safe, clean, comfortable environment.

You will follow care plans, document in EMR systems, and participate in ongoing professional development. The position supports a team-focused culture with flexible hours, competitive pay, and paid

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate issued from the state of Arkansas.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and proof of state required vehicle insurance.
• Current negative TB skin test or state health card.
• Certified in CPR/First Aid.
• Must pass background checks, maltreatment checks, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Skills: support patients with housekeeping, laundry, shopping, meals, and errands.
• Personal care: grooming, bathing, dressing.
• Transfer & Mobility: assist with mobility and ambulation.
• Companionship, Comfort & Safety: provide companionship and safety.
• Care Plans & Charting: follow care plans and document in EMR systems.
• Professional Development: attend quarterly training sessions.
• Company Culture: wear ID and maintain professional image.
• Other Duties: perform additional tasks as assigned.
